Pete’s art studio is on the North Devon Coast in England. His studio breathes in the ocean air and breezes of dancing light casting sunset shadows play onto his canvas.
Pete’s gallery is close to the sand dunes of the North Devon Coast.
Pete has been painting sunset paintings for 20 years. His love of colours and bright energetic paintings make ocean sunsets a breeze.
In the summer Pete surfs and in the winter he skis and snowboards. He loves the water in the oceans or in the mountains and the wonderful light it encompases.
At his home in North Devon Pete loves to visit the beach through the dunes from his studio. A beautiful long beach with a fantastic wave for long boarding and paddle boarding.
Sunsets reflect off the sandy beach and the Northern air creates colours in abundance.
Pete uses a special technique in his art to create the wonderful bright centre to the sunsets to draw you in a radiate the light.
Pete travels around the world and paintings sunsets from his favourite places he visits.
Different techniques for different moods. Impressionist dabs of thick colour across the entire canvas here creates the light in the ocean.
